Collated Observations is a series of regular photozines showcasing aspects of modern life through the lens of a different UK-based photographer each issue.

This issue features an intimate project by Cardiff based photographer Beverley Bingham.

"Isolated is a collection of images made during the varying levels of the UK’s lockdown restrictions. I was living alone in a property with completely frosted glass windows, which presented little opportunity to experience much outside the space I was living in; I hadn’t been able to see outside to know what the weather was doing without opening the windows and it was a lonely experience to say the least. Photographing myself at home gave me the opportunity to focus on something different, and in trying to find new and interesting things in my flat it brought some purpose to the very repetitive days. Looking back through all the images created during this period, the reality is that I spent a lot of time on my phone so I could keep connected to friends and family, and doing menial tasks to try and bring some routine to the day. The final selection of images are an attempt to capture the mundanity of the first few months of the year, where most of my days could be summed up in a few words: ‘watered plants, dyed my hair, made a coffee, went for a walk.’"
